Advantages of Forging

During forging, metal is subject to plastic deformation, grain refinement and continuous fibre cutting, so it is often used in the manufacture of important parts, such as shaft, gear theory, etc.   casting does not have many advantages of forging, but it can produce zero with complex shape, so it is often used in Maopi manufacturing of supporting parts with low mechanical property requirements. The mechanical properties of forgings are generally better than those of castings of the same material. For the important parts with high load and severe working conditions, forgings are often used except for the simple shape of rolled plates, sections or weldments.

Die extrusion is used in forging, which has high efficiency. Besides, forging has the function of refining metal grains, and its strength is higher than that of castings.

And forging is to use steel mould, put the heated and softened aluminium block in it, and use a stamping method to shape it, to be cooled.
