Forging is a manufacturing process involving the shaping of a metal through hammering, pressing, or rolling. These compressive forces are delivered with a hammer or die. Forging is often categorized according to the temperature at which it is performed—cold, warm, or hot forging.

A wide range of metals can be forged. Typical metals used in forging include carbon steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel. Very soft metals such as aluminum, brass, and copper can also be forged. The forging process can produce parts with superb mechanical properties with minimum waste. The basic concept is that the original metal is plastically deformed to the desired geometric shape—giving it higher fatigue resistance and strength. The metal forging process is economically sound with the ability to mass-produce parts and achieve specific mechanical properties in the finished product.

Forging Process

  • Create Die Mold Create Die Mold

    According to the product specifications we design the mold

  • Material Cutting and Heating Material Cutting and Heating

    We will cut the material base on the parts parameters.

  • Press Press

    The heated billet with 1000° C will be put at the middle of the dies, close the dies

  • Cutting the Fin Cutting the Fin

    The raw parts with the fin will put in a cutting mold to remove the fin.

  • ​Heating Treatment ​Heating Treatment

    Heating the material to 1000°C

  • Sand Blasting Sand Blasting

    ​To remove the oxide layer of the forging and get a uniformed surface

  • Machining Machining

    To get accurate dimensions, the machining process is needed.

  • Quality Inspection Quality Inspection

    ​Every parts in my factory must be inspected the quality before leading to my customers.

  • Packing Packing

    We are experienced in export package, we will follow customers request to pack the parts, the plywood box or carton, pallets all available.
