Forging Production Process 3

The blanks are deformed and hardened during cold forging, so that the forging mold sits on a high load, so that high-strength forging soldering and hard lubrication film treatment methods to prevent wear and bonding are required. In addition, in order to prevent blank cracks, when needed to carry out intermediate annealing to ensure the required deformation capacity. In order to maintain a good lubrication state, the blanks can be phosphated.

In the continuous processing with forging material and disc, the section can not be lubricated at present, the possibility of using phosphating lubrication method is being studied. According to the way of moving the blanks, forging processing can be divided into free forging, rough, extrusion, die forging, closed forging, closed forging. Closed-mode forging and closed-mold forging are highly utilized because there are no flying edges. The finishing of complex forgings can be done with one or several operations. Since there is no flying edge, the force area of the forging is reduced and the required load is reduced.

However, it should be noted that the blank material can not be completely restricted, for this reason, we should strictly control the volume of the blanks, control the relative position of the forging mold and the measurement of forgings, and strive to reduce the wear of the forging.
