Measures to Prevent Cavitation in Hydraulic Cylinder and Hazard Analysis of Excessive Temperature Rise

The hydraulic cylinder is the working organization of the hydraulic cylinder in the hydraulic transmission system for repeated movement. Its structural form is a single hydraulic cylinder double-effect earring assembly type such as the mini excavator hydraulic cylinder. The key is suitable for the hydraulic transmission system of construction machinery, conveying machinery, mining equipment and vehicles.

Ⅰ. What are the measures to prevent cavitation in hydraulic cylinders? 

1. Strictly control the use of gear oil. Use gear oil strictly according to the specification. The use of cost-effective gear oil can reasonably handle the air bubbles in the hydraulic transmission system during the operation. When using hydraulic oil, it should be selected according to the temperature of different areas, and the gear oil should be filled according to the oil dipstick specifications. 

2. Avoid high temperature and reduce the impact of hydraulic press. Effective design of cooling system software to avoid excessive temperature is important to maintain normal gear oil temperature. The temperature of the system software should always be kept within a suitable range to reduce the kinetic energy released when the bubbles are cracked.

3. Maintain the conventional clearance of the fusion surface of each hydraulic system. When manufacturing or repairing the key parts of the hydraulic cylinder, the installation should be carried out according to the limit value of the dimensional tolerance of the installation specification, which can reduce the occurrence of cavitation.

4. Pay attention to the exhaust pipe during maintenance. After the hydraulic cylinder is overhauled, it should run stably with the hydraulic transmission system for a certain period of time, so that the gear oil in the hydraulic transmission system can obtain sufficient circulation system; if necessary, the hydraulic cylinder inlet pipe can be disassembled.

Ⅱ. The danger of excessive temperature rise in the hydraulic cylinder

Excessive heating of hydraulic cylinder machinery and hydraulic cylinder motor equipment will cause thermal deformation of the machinery and equipment. The fitness movement components with different thermal expansion indices in the hydraulic system are stuck due to the reduction of the mutual cooperation gap, resulting in failure of action and damage to the precision of the transmission system of the hydraulic transmission system. It will also cause the quality of the component work to decrease.

The hydraulic cylinder machinery and equipment will heat up too high, which will reduce the viscosity of the oil, increase the leakage, and significantly reduce the high efficiency of the pump capacity and the high efficiency of the entire system software.

As the viscosity of the oil decreases, the floating oil of the moving components such as the rotary vane pump becomes soft and is cut, and the frictional resistance expands, resulting in increased wear and tear. It deforms rubber products, accelerates embrittlement, reduces sealing properties and service life, and causes leakage.
